Last 1^stDecember, the XXth Ceremony of Sport in Castilla-La Mancha was celebrated in Madridejos (Toledo), and different awards were granted in recognition to sport support during 2016. These honors mean to be a sign of gratitude to the work – both individual or collective- in favor of regional sport.

In this context, Pinturas Macy has been awarded with a commemorative plaque for Sport Support, thanks to its constant help to sport and sportmen and women in Castilla-La Mancha. Ángel Cantos García, founder of Pinturas Macy, collected the prize in the name of the company, and he emphasized the effort and endeavor of Juan Ramón Amores García, from La Roda, general manager of the Sport and Youth Counseling in Castilla-La Mancha, in support of sport. 

From Pinturas Macy we state our firm conviction that collaboration with sport at any level can convey significant benefits to our society. For it, we are proud of enhancing the sport practice in our region, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Sport support in La Roda

In this sense, Pinturas Macy sponsors and actively collaborates with Club de Judo La Roda, Club Polideportivo La Cañada, Media Maratón (La Roda), Club Deportivo Ajedrez La Roda, La Milla Urbana J.J. Lozano, La Roda Club de Fútbol, Pilates Solidario and Club Deportivo VTT Voysobrao.

The President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, sincerely thanked for the career and effort of all those sportmen and women granted during the event, and underlined the regional government commitment to sport. 

During this XXth presentation of the Awards and Honors for Sport Support in Castilla-La Mancha, a total amount of 35 awards and honors were granted; more specifically, three golden medals, five silver medals and ten bronze medals, as well as nine plaques, five diplomas and three honorary mentions.
